Marlene Meyerson JCC 334 Amsterdam Ave at, W 76th St, , NY, New York, NY, United StatesDesigned for those who seek a level of mastery, comprehension, and focus through a rigorous dance experience, Dance for PD PRO classes integrate elements of diverse dance styles to help people with Parkinson's build and master a specific set of skills through a focused, intensive approach. Expert teachers will guide you through accelerated physical and cognitive training, technique, improvisation, and a focus on structural alignment in an intimate, friendly, personalized workshop environment. Each class includes a progressive all-standing warm up, standing barre work and traveling steps.

Led by former Mark Morris Dance Group company member Megan Williams with live music by MMDG Music Director Colin Fowler, this class will be offered in conjunction with our Advanced Training Workshop welcoming more than 20 teaching artists from the Dance for PD global network.
