Award-winning Dance for PD® classes invite people with Parkinson’s and their partners to explore movement and music in ways that are enjoyable, stimulating, and creative. This special 60-minute class begins with a seated warm-up and places a strong emphasis on standing and traveling movement, with at least 30 minutes devoted to standing and locomotive activities that support balance, flexibility, coordination, and confidence. Seated options are always available. Energizing live accompaniment evokes diverse dance styles and inspires creative movement. No dance experience is required, and you're encouraged to engage at the level that is right for you.
