Dancing Connections 2024: MĀUI

Professional Development Workshop and Community Dance Experience

The Sydney Opera House together with Dance for Parkinson’s Australia, in partnership with Mark Morris Dance Group’s Dance for PD program present:

Dancing Connections: Fresh Movement Collective

Collaborating with companies and dance artists presenting work at Sydney Opera House, this high quality series of Dance for Parkinson’s classes are delivered annually. Each series’ professional development and community class curriculum is creatively built around the creative processes and practices of the artists involved.

In 2024, Dance for Parkinson’s Instructors are collaborating with Fresh Movement Collective artists to facilitate a Dance for PD community class and professional development workshop. Direct from New Zealand, Fresh Movement Collective bring a rich blend of dance, music and theatre to tell Māori and Pacifica stories.
