Course description
This workshop, an On Demand version of the Dance for PD Professional Development Workshop that took place in Brooklyn, NY October 31-November 2, 2024, offers a comprehensive, multi-module learning experience covering key aspects of music, improvisation, choreographic repertory, and program development. Module 1: Music and Rhythm
- Session 1: Afro-Caribbean Community Class and Q&A with Pat Hall
- Session 2: "The Power of Percussion" with Claudia Rahardjanoto
- Session 3: "Music Therapy and Neuroscience" with Connie Tomaino, including a presentation on music therapy.

Module 2: Improvisation

Module 4: Marketing, Development, and Research
- Session 1: Introduction to Marketing with Laura Giannatempo (includes marketing slides)

- Session 3: Developing Research Partnerships (includes research slides for internal use)
