Art Moves Me
A therapeutic Dance and Mindful Movement Program for people impacted by Parkinson’s Disease or Parkinsonisms, family members, care partners, & community friends.

Creative engagement with artworks through guided awareness of kinesthetic & proprioceptive senses and contemplative dance. Sustainable practices to enhance emotional, psychological and social well-being. Mental health wellness is a core focus.

Playful, contemplative, and exhilarating, “Sound Moves Me” invites participants to listen to the sounds of nature while exploring mindful listening, improvisation, and guided movement and visual arts activities connected with “Murmuration,” one of Artpark’s newest art installations located near the Artpark Percussion Garden. Each gathering features skill-development, exploration, performance of improvisational scores and reflection.
