
Heather Waldon
Training and Learning Coordinator
At sixteen, Heather Waldon joined Boston Ballet, where she spent seven years performing works by George Balanchine, Maurice Béjart, Mark Morris, Twyla Tharp, and other leading choreographers. She went on to join Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and later performed with Robert Moses in San Francisco. Heather is a founding member of the Sean Curran Company, where, in addition to performing, she served as rehearsal director and later as associate artistic director. Throughout her career, she has also performed works by Molissa Fenley, Richard Move, and Liz Gerring.
Alongside her extensive performing career, Heather has developed a longstanding practice as a dance educator. She has taught at Connecticut College, Boston Conservatory, Alvin Ailey/Fordham, Hofstra University, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and other institutions. As Dance for PD’s Training and Learning Coordinator, Heather supports the program’s global network of teaching artists and learning communities.
