Bethina Sayegh-Flores, born in Caracas-Venezuela and raised in Lima-Peru, began her dance career in New York City, dancing with “Eddie Torres and his Latin Dance Company”. There, she had the pleasure and honor to have met the great Tito Puente. They shared ten years of dancing and touring all over the world, in venues such as Madison Square Garden, the Hollywood Bowl, Miami Arena, Roberto Clemente (P.R.). She has been teaching Zumba for 10 years and her class fuses a variety rhythms and styles to offer a creative, energetic and fun work out. Bethina has been leading Dance for PD en español classes since 2020, and has been the lead teacher in partnership with the Washington Heights Y – Center for Adults Living Well – and with Moving Brains Foundation/Dr. Jose Cabassa. She also served as a voiceover collaborator for Dance for PD en Casa, Dance for PD’s instructional video in Spanish.
