Pam Patrick

Musician

Pam Patrick, percussionist/vocalist, teacher has performed in Europe, South America, the Caribbean and around the U.S. at festivals and in schools, libraries, museums, and theatres. Former lead drummer with the Women of The Calabash, Pamela is the musical director for Dr. Glory’s Youth Theatre and a teaching artist for the African Dance Beat program of the Brooklyn Academy of Brooklyn. In addition, Pam has been a featured performer at Battery Park City Parks Sunset Jam series and is an accompanist for dance classes at Tisch School of the Arts of New York University and for Pat Hall’s Dance and Movement Classes held at the Mark Morris Dance Center. Pam was also the featured percussionist in the NYU main stage production of Da Kink in My Hair directed by Michelle Shay and in Nina Angela Mercer’s piece Itagua Meji at the National Black Theatre and the NuYorican Poets’ Café in NYC.
