Dance for PD At Home with Southampton Hospital

Dance for PD® is committed to working with our partners to support our global community and encourage people living with Parkinson’s to keep dancing during a time when live classes may not be available. In partnership with Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, we are pleased to offer free, live movement classes via Zoom.

Join us Monday, April 19 for a special free workshop highlighting movement and themes from Mark Morris’ acclaimed masterpiece L’Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato. Founding teacher David Leventhal will integrate Handel’s original music into a full-bodied experience that encourages creativity and expression. Seated options are always provided; no experience necessary. This class is offered in celebration of Mark Morris Dance Group’s 40th Anniversary Season. Register ahead of time or starting at 10:45 a.m. on Monday.

Join us every Saturday for a free Dance for PD class featuring master teacher Pat Hall with live music or a live-hosted Encore Presentation featuring selections from our class library. Seated options are always provided; no experience necessary. No pre-registration available; registration opens 15 minutes before class.
