“I cannot thank you and the others enough for the wonderful weekend. I learned so much and it more than exceeded my expectations. Thank you again for all that you have done to make this program available to those of us outside Brooklyn. This was the best workshop I have attended in a long time.—Veronica B, 2010 participant
Thank you for an outstanding workshop! The program content was excellent and the material was presented in a very enjoyable and professional manner. I can tell a lot of hard work has done into developing the workshop materials. This was an extremely valuable workshop for us. We also met some very good contacts from other cities.—Fred D., 2010 participant
I learned more than I could have ever imagined and I love to dance more than I ever imagined. I have already utilized some of your ideas into my treatment approaches with my patients and they have worked GREAT!—L.D., DPT, 2011 participant”

“Having spent 25 years in the medical arena in management, I was thrilled to see the attention to detail and the follow through to completion in every aspect of both theory, music, and dance. I was amazed at their insightfulness on PD. It was obvious that their 10 years of working with Parkinson’s patients through dance, has given them critical knowledge of the disease and the student/patient capabilities through dance.
—Tootsie Loomis
Gainesville, FL workshop participant, 2011
The Mark Morris Group’s weekend teacher training in Dance for Parkinson’s was absolutely spectacular. It was beautifully orchestrated, very well organized, and provided opportunities for the creativity of the student teachers to flourish. I am now leading my own class; in every class I include the creative “pass the movement” and the “circle bow” which I experienced in the Morris teacher training. Another wonderful result of this training is community: Now when I am travelling I can participate and co-teach in other Dance for Parkinsons classes. I have done this in Oakland, California and southern England.”
