Reach for It: A Program of Dance for Persons with Parkinson’s
Mondays from 5:30-6:30 pm (through March 14, 2011)
$40 for eight sessions
Co-presenters: The Moving Company at UNO; the Omaha Modern Dance Collective; Premier Physical Therapy; the Nebraska Arts Council; Nebraska Cultural Endowment; and the American Parkinson Disease Association.
Lead teachers: Josie Metal-Corbin, The Moving Company; Danielle Laurion, a recent graduate of the dance/movement therapy and counseling master’s program at Columbia College Chicago; and Taffy Howard, a longtime performing and teacher with the Omaha Modern Dance Collective.
